1. Separate keywords with spaces !

2. DO NOT USE AND, OR, NEAR, or any other search terms. They wont work.

3. Use the correct database, for avatars use VP_Avatars, for gestures use VP_Gestures, for any VP related sites, use VP_General. You can use General to search for avatars and gestures, but you will be able to use more specific search terms in VP_Avatars and VP_Gestures.

4. Use Singular terms, e.g use animal rather than animals, wolf rather than wolves, etc.

5. Start with a very specific search and then make the search less exact. e.g Searching for Gillian Anderson avatars. First use VP_Avatars searching for "Gillian Anderson", if no results come up try "X Files", if no results come up try again using VP_General.
