A few months had passed, and we met Uther.CP.KOD in central London, in front of the Empire, Leceister Square, and found out that he had agreed to help organise a meet whilst being drunk, a famous past time of his as we were all soon to find out.

Me and a friend from the office met Uther.CP.KOD and Spirit.CP.KOD and although they were both looking slightly the worse for wear as they had been up at 5 am the same morning were in excellent spirits. At the same time we met Amnios[MOD] and after a little while a few people started turning up, including CD.Satan, who had one of the funniest lines of the day when he introduced himself......

"Hi, I'm Satan."

Check out those red eyes in the picture(left). Soon we retired with the guys from Minos and those who had since turned up to the Moon Under Water, the local and waited for people to turn up, and consumed much alcohol in the process, and to our collective surprise we had 35 people with us at this point, with people coming from afar field as Paris (well done DC_Danold) and CD.Satan all the way from Newcastle.

Then Demonic Core arrived in force, and I mean in force, and took to camping at the end of the bar before people moved in and said hello :) :). We had by this point managed to take over most of the pub, and I did notice many weird looks as people called out "Where is this RawMeat, and Angel (shown on the right with Spirit in the background), it was their idea!" I dunno what people must have been thinking when all they were hearing were "Where is Sujoy's Rocket Launcher?" and "I left my Axe at home". But all in all the strangest part of this was meeting all those people who have been gibbing you for these past weeks and people you have been wasting too. The introductions could have been described "odd" at best, with some players such as Sujoy being noticeably thrown by people coming up to him saying "So this is who you are, I thought you were a 7ft tall, green monster", though we were all thankful he wasn't as this may have upset the locals.

There was a lot of friendly clan banter with Clan Cornholio running round, and I think it was one of them who was on the pull, a line from him "Lets be obnoxius to all the women round here", and needless to say he was unsuccessful!! :) DC_CrystalTips turned up and I bet they would have not said that to her!!!! :)

By this time, Uther.CP.KOD was telling me "I've had 11 pints!!!" and he sat down on the street outside, only to be accosted by two equally drunk guys saying "Why are you sitting there? Did your parents interfere with you when you were younger??" and Uther stood up, looked really big and I added "There are 36 of us and 3 of you!" One of the funnier parts of the day.

It was now 3pm and people were getting hungry, Sega World and Namco were calling and people had to find places to stay, so they the party split off and went their own ways and met back at 18:00. Namco Gamepark is really good though. :) Great racing games where me, Nitric.BB, V_Nimbus, CC-Angel, and some members of Clan Cornholio had a throughly good racing bash, all of them beating me into oblivion, running me off the road and so on. Well, CC-Angel drives a Golf GTI and CC-RawMeat drives a Panda 750L so there are absolutely no surprises there!!! :) Though it has to be said that a Panda has 4 gears like the game so I was hopeful but to no avail.

Then it was off to Shoot n Surf for a bit of extra gaming on the LAN they had there. This was not before several more pints at the Moon Under Water, now established as Clan Meet base. It was here that CrystalTips finally put a long awaited for appearance, a fleeting visit as she had some pressing commitments to make that evening as well, hey Quake can't rule our lives all the time can it? Arriving at Shoot n Surf at 19:30 we decided that as there was a fair amount of us, we could put in a decent little tournament on the LAN.

This was the first REAL leveller of all time, pings were equal, and true skill showed through, and a lot of the modemers getting in great results against some top quality players, such as Reaper_MA and Spirit.CP.KOD though again DC showed some real class. All in all a really good day out, in Uthers word's "It was a riot". All of you who did not make it where were you ??? Don't worry, there is another one being planned out.
