Dyn Aero MCR01 SPORTSTER, the fastest two seat Rotax 912 powered aircraft in the world. Fighter like handling qualities and performance other manufacturers can only dream of. Top speed in excess of 160 kts using the 100 hp engine. Climb rates with two crew in excess of 1500 fpm. Comfortable cruise speeds in excess of 140 kts. The most technologically advanced design. Now with carbon fibre skinned wings.
Arplast Composite Ground Adjustable, In Flight Variable Pitch and now Constant Speed propellers power some of the world's fastest kit aircraft. Constant speed versions use a UK designed and built controller with sophisticated digital control. The controller displays engine rpm, pitch%, manifold pressure and percentage engine power. It is the same size a Rotax rev-counter and several customers have simple replaced their rev-counters when upgrading to Constant Speed.

Handling so sweet it's unatural
The MCR4S is the world's first 4 seat aircraft based on the Rotax 912 range of engines. It has true 4 seat capability and good short field performance. The spacious cabin offers plenty of space for 4 people with room for baggage behind the rear seats. The performance has been made possible only with the abundant use of carbon fibre in addition to some clever design techniques.
The MCR01 VLA is the lightest and fastest aircraft in its class. Not only is it exceedingly fast but it has delightful light responsive handling. Take off is short and the climb is fast at around 1500 fpm for 100hp aircraft fitted with VP propellers. All UK aircraft have the optional large front wheel and can be safely operated form short grass airfields. The seating is comfortable and there's enough baggage space for two moderate size soft bags. With a fuel tank capacity of 75 litres and typical consumption of 15 litres per hour range is almost 700nm at 130 kts IAS or more at altitude. The geared Rotax engine also makes the aircraft exceptionally quiet and operation from the most sensitive sites is possible. Visibility is outstanding and even pilots used to high wing aircraft are surprised at the forward and downwards view. The wings can be removed single handed in a few minutes and the plane can be kept in the corner of a hangar, an old transport container, small purpose built shed or even taken home behind a car.
MCR01 CLUB - Seperate flaps and ailerons give reduced stall speed, classic handling, more gentle stall and better short field performance. The CLUB has possibly become the favourite version in the UK.
G-CDGG was started in July 2004 and flew for the first time in February 2005. It took just 7 months to complete this well finished aircraft with all but the painting carried out by the amateur owner.
The MCR01 ULC (Microlight) has the highest speed range of any microlight in the world. Despite it's breathtaking performance the designers have maintained their high standards in respect of handling. This version has a larger tailplane to ensure low speed handling and pitch stability meet BCAR Section S requirments. Unlike many so called microlights this one is comfortably within the strict UK weight limit of 265 kgs maximum empty weight for a 912S powered aircraft. The stall speed has been rigorously tested and found to be around 32 kts again comfortably within the UK requirments. Unlike many other imported microlight aircraft the manufacturer has not had to reduce weight to meet UK standards and at under 250 kgs I beleive the MCR01 ULC to be the lightest in this class.
Arplast and Ecoprop are trade marks of s.a.r.l. HELICE.
They manufacture a large range of composite propellers for use on un-certified
aircraft and specialise in propellers for Rotax and similar engines.
Arplast are well known for their red coloured two stroke propellers used on many European microlights. Made from glass, carbon and epoxy they offer the highest performance on Rotax engines fitted with "A" or "B" type gearboxes. Typically 3 blade 64" and 65" propellers have inertia values much less than 3000 kgcm². Blades are torsionally very stiff but flexible to absorb engine shock. The result is smooth high performance. Blades can be replaced singularly or in sets. If you need to order a replacement blade you should take apart the propeller and phone us with the blades in your hand. There is a 4 digit balance weight on the end of the blades and a reference engraved into the aluminium collar.

PV50 CS- Lightweight Constant Speed propeller
The PV50 CS is based on the standard PV50 with a CSC-1 controller. The intelligent controller replaces both the standard controller and standard display. At around 9 KGs the PV50 CS is possibly the lightest CS propeller available. The CS controller is capable of maintaining 5750 +/- 50rpm during take off and climb ensuring maximum performance at this critical stage. Performance is maximised whilst pilot workload is reduced. Intelligent software means only two automatic modes are required. In cruise mode sudden power changes do not cause the propeller to change to fully fine.

At last an affordable solution to dynamic propeller balancing. The Smart Avionics PB2 brings you all the benefits of dynamic propeller balancing in one box. The system offers a complete balancing solution for most aircraft installations. Tested at length on many Rotax powered aircraft the unit should work equally well on traditionally powered aircraft. Designed to be easy and quick to use the unit quickly gives a measurement of installation roughness and a phase angle indicating where relative to the reference blade weight should be added. Unlike many other products the PB-2 also gives an error estimate which is indicative of the vibration source and may help detect other vibration sources as well as the propeller.
LYNX AVIONICS - Aviation headsets, that work where others fail
Lynx Micro System Headsets
Designed for microlight and or any aircraft where an independent self contained
communications system would be advantageous. Each headset contains special rechargeable
batteries and intercom circuitry. Colours - black, grey, red or blue. Stock
colour is grey. These headsets are not twin jack headsets although they can
be used with an adapter. GA headsets - for use with a general aviation intercom
system do have twin jack plugs and may be used in most GA aircraft.
LYNX PILOT (GA headsets)
For use with a general aviation intercom system. They have twin jack plugs, straight leads and may be used in most GA aircraft. Colours - black or grey. They use the same ear defenders as the micro system and offer similar passive noise protection. However in the most hostile environments the Lynx micro system offers maximum performance.
We've tried selling cheaper systems. Our customers didn't like them, so we
didn't like them!
Lynx Relai System
Designed originally for use on paramotors they can be used in most single seat application where connection to a hand held radio is required. Like all LYNX headsets they offer excellent passive noise suppression and work well in noisy environments.
We now offer the excellent well made well featured FILSER range of radios and
transponders.

Fuel Level Indicator (from £99 + fittings + VAT)
For a long time aircraft have suffered from unreliable and inaccurate fuel gauges. We offer a range of gauges with unrivalled reliability. Our gauges are now used by several leading European manufacturers. Benefits:
Inexpensive
Lightweight
Reliable
Simple
Compared to capacitance type gauges our units are more reliable. Capacitance gauges are prone to failure if the sender comes into contact with even small amounts of water. Capacitance gauges may misread by 10% or even more depending on what fuel is used. Mogas and Avgas have different qualities and unleaded fuels vary depending on season. Our gauges are unaffected by this type of variation.
How do they work?
The senders are made with a series (often eight) reed switches set inside a stainless steel tube. A magnetic float sweeps past the switches changing the setting. Each switch operates a resistor and the resistance of the sender is changed depending on the fuel level. Our aircraft specific senders are calibrated to reflect the non-linearity of the fuel tank. Although the senders have only eight switches the resolution is more than adequate. Better to have an accurate gauge with eighth resolution that an inaccurate gauge which at best tells you fuel content to within 10%.
Can you fit one?
You need a flat surafce of about 80mm diameter
The sender must be at least 200mm long to be effective (they can not be bent)
The sender are European configuration 0 - 180 ohms (empty - full)
